The long awaited debut album from J. Marie will soon be available. Entirely produced by King James III, the album from Tulsa, Oklahoma’s very own twin songwriting/producing team features J. Marie as the outstanding artist and songwriter she has grown to be. The twin brother and sister production team take you on a journey of love and emotion with J. Marie’s voice and songwriting sharing a story of overcoming heartbreak, self-love, and the emotions of women everywhere. The album encompasses a very diverse and eclectic mixture of arrangements from mainly R&B to Pop and Rock vibes, while capturing the emotion of every word J. Marie has carefully crafted. With her first single, “In the Morning (Part I)”, she has captured the very essence of feelings involved with waking up next to the person you love with a genuine honesty that anyone can relate to. From there, she takes you on a ride, and is honest and unapologetic about who she is or what she wants on “I Don’t Care” with a rockers vibe, guitar soloist, voice effects, and a diva attitude. Her record, “Call Me Poppa” which is sure to be a crossover and foreign hit takes on an early 1980’s pop sound that is still vibrant and transferable to any generation. Then she stuns you with amazingly written R&B songs like “Not Enough” and “Going Down” that are even more relevant and necessary in today’s music. This album is sure to stand the test of time. All in all, she was not lying when she said “Prepare to Experience J. Marie”.
